As the pastor of Christ is King my desire is to equip the whole church for the work of ministry (Eph. 4:11-12). The result of this will be a church comprised of members who are capable of “teaching and admonishing one another” (Col. 3:16). The members of the church are called to “stimulate one another to love and good deeds” (Heb. 10:24), “comfort one another” (1 Thess. 4:18), and to “encourage one another and build up one another” (1 Thess. 5:11). This is the job of the whole church.

However, we also recognize the unique role of pastors in the counseling ministry of the local church. Counseling involves listening, teaching, correction, rebuking, encouragement, and pastoral guidance among other things. Someone may need counseling because they are struggling with sin, the loss of a loved one, depression, or marital problems. As the pastor of Christ is King it is my joyous privilege to provide counseling to our members and those who attend our church. If you need counseling in any way, I would be glad to provide that for you. Feel free to contact me and I’ll be glad to set up a meeting with you.
